How do I use WebAR (AR with no app)?

By the Artivive Team · Updated 2 days ago · 3 min read
Quick answer

WebAR lets viewers open your AR in a phone browser with no app. In Bridge, put your artworks in a folder, choose "Publish as WebAR", and share the generated QR code or URL. Up to 10 artworks work under one link.

  1. Create a folder in Bridge and add up to 10 artworks.
  2. Open folder options and select "Publish as WebAR".
  3. Share the generated URL or QR code, print it, or embed it.
  4. Adding or removing artworks later keeps the same link.
Frequently asked
Does WebAR need an app download?

No. WebAR runs in the phone's browser, so viewers just scan a QR code or open a URL. The Artivive app is only needed for app-based AR experiences.

How many artworks fit in one WebAR link?

Up to 10 artworks can be grouped under a single QR code or URL using WebAR Folders, which is ideal for exhibitions.

Which plan includes WebAR?

WebAR is included in Pro Plus. Pro with WebAR is available with a watermark.

The part that keeps it fresh

Auto-updating pipeline

Resources move into a Webflow CMS collection. A scheduled agent job keeps content fresh - a GEO ranking factor - and nothing goes live without a human approving it.
